At 17, I landed in a country I’d only seen in Pictures.
Two suitcases, 0 plan. I bussed tables. I ran the floor at restaurants. I took the sales jobs nobody else wanted. I made my way up the only way I knew how, by outworking the room.
Then I got inside the room where it was being built.
Eventually I landed at OpenAI, working User Operations, inside the company behind the tech everyone's scared of now. I saw what was coming up close, before almost anyone else did. Then I left on my own terms for a safer corporate job. Within a year, that job is the one the software erased.

Then in 2023, a piece of software did 80% of my job overnight.
I didn't get fired. I got "restructured." The check stopped. The bills didn't. And I saw the whole thing clearly for the first time: the same force that took my paycheck was the most valuable skill on earth, if you were building it instead of being replaced by it.
I had two choices. I picked the harder one.
Find another job AI would erase in eighteen months, or learn the thing doing the erasing. I spent every night for a year teaching myself to deploy AI systems into real businesses. The kind that pay $2K to $10K a month, every month, with or without me at the keyboard.
